What Supplements Should You Take?

Most of them are BS...

How many times have you seen an ad for a supplement that will give you unbelievable results in half the time?

Or a recently discovered product that will revolutionize how you train?

Feels like more often than not in the health & fitness industry.

As humans, we’re wired to look for the easiest means to an end. The quickest, least work required tactic to arriving to the goal.

And that’s not necessarily wrong. We look to conserve energy where we can. It makes perfect sense. Why put forth more effort than needed?

But it’s important to realize most of these advertisements prey on this very fact. Just like get rich quick schemes, fake gurus, seminars, etc. They target people who lack the knowledge in the particular field, create a narrative about how easy the goal is to attain, and collect on teaching a few lessons or shelling out a product that may or not work.

We all have big goals this 2024…net worth, relationships, career, health & fitness, etc. Moving forward, I will be taking on a few clients for personal training. If you’re looking to gain some muscle, drop a few pounds, or just build a lasting health & fitness lifestyle in 2024, sign up for a free consultation call below. Let’s see if we can work together!

As for supplements, many health & fitness gurus or new companies will push their products to their following with promises that you will transform to look just like them…all you need to do is take their pill.

I’m not saying they’re all trash or ineffective, but for me, I’ve found that keeping it simple and sticking to a few supplements that have studies backing their efficacy keeps me energized and feeling young. I’ll drop my stack below 👇️

My Supplement Stack:

  • Creatine

  • Multivitamin

  • Vitamin D3

  • Omega-3

  • Magnesium

  • Melatonin

I will add some subtract some as I go but these have stayed quite consistent as the years have gone by. If you become curious, do a quick Google search on which supplements are scientifically proven to work…I think the size of the list will shock you.

And I’m telling you this because I care…there’s no shortcut to anything worthwhile. The things you wish to achieve will become attainable after long periods of boring, unsexy execution of habits. Not a new supplement that will solve all of your problems.

You want to gain muscle or reveal your abs? Get 8 hours of sleep, hydrate, eat clean food, workout at least 4x / week, move throughout the day, etc. It’s boring and can even be grueling.

But a quick solution would leave you empty anyway. The growth is always in the work 🙂 So here’s to the grind my friends 🤞
